Are you dreaming of a week filled with snow, adventure, and authentic experiences? During the Winter Wonder Week, you’ll stay seven days and six nights at my B&B in Hedenäset, a charming village on the banks of the Tornio River, located along the picturesque Norrskensvägen in beautiful Tornedalen. In winter, there are direct flights from Düsseldorf (Germany) to Kiruna, and direct flights from Switzerland (Zurich) to Luleå/Kallax with Edelweiss.
You can also fly directly from Amsterdam to Rovaniemi with KLM or EasyJet. Several UK airlines and low-cost carriers (for example Ryanair) operate direct winter flights to Rovaniemi from UK airports.
For the rest of the year, most connections to northern Sweden or Finland go via Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) or Helsinki (HEL).
The Old Post Office Sweden is located almost exactly halfway between Rovaniemi (Finland) and Luleå (Sweden) – about 105 km from Rovaniemi and 145 km from Luleå. So it really doesn’t matter which airport you choose – both offer a beautiful scenic drive through the north.
